Jim from Mass joined us on Tuesday, thanks to our friends at Kennebec river outfitters for booking the trip. Jim and I hit the Kennebec river gorge early ready to get right into some salmon and brook trout. The fishing turned out to be a bit slow, heavy rain during the night and warm water temps may have been a factor. We did manage to catch this nice salmon and lost a couple others.
We had our famous riverside lunch on pebble beach and headed toward the lower river for the afternoon, more on that, next post
