In the gorge yesterday with Tim and Ryan, thanks to our friends at Kennebec River Outfitters for booking the trip. Slow relaxing start to the day, but a we got further down river things started to warm up. Mostly salmon yesterday, only one small brookie. Fish were taking emerger patterns and towards the end of the morning, the brown woolie bugger came through in a big way, 6-8 fish in less than 30 minutes.
Headed to the dead in the afternoon but a recreational water release and high winds made for a tough end to the day. Tim and Ryan fished hard and did catch some nice fish in the morning. Great guys and another great day fishing...
