Water temps are coming down, salmon and trout are moving up river. Glen and Chris joined us for a full day flyfishing trip on Saturday. Thanks to our friends at kennebec river outfitters for booking the trip. Fishing was a bit tough for the majority of the day. Both trout and salmon seemed to be a bit more selective than usual. We did manage to catch some great fish, like this 20 inch salmon. Streamers mostly during the day, although we did find ourselved in an active hatch towards dusk and mananged to pick up a pretty nice salmon on a dry. Things are picking up, fall is a great time to be here on the river.
We hope to see Glen and Chris back next year. They fished hard all day and were a pleasure to guide.
