Many thanks for all that you and Chris did to make our recent trip so memorable. Your patience, general good humor and personalized approach were much appreciated. I will carry forever fond memories of the beauty of the Maine wilderness, as well as the thrill of the "strike". I am by no means a good fisherman but had a grand time, as did everyone else on our trip. I think it was especially meaningful for Al to see his sons, so different in so many ways, bond together in the creation of a shared memory of adulthood. Thanks to you and Chris for making that possible - please pass along to him my best wishes and thanks as well.
So here it is...Hands down, the biggest fish I've ever seen in the Kennebec River. Al fought this fish for what seemed like forever, and I actually had to pull the anchor and chase it to get it in the net...INCREDIBLE. 24 inch brown trout! I have no idea how much it weighed, but A LOT. I'm still wound up! What a great day of fishing on the Kennebec with Al and Barry. -Greg
Fly fishing in Maine is still producing some great fish. Nothing beats big brook trout on dry flies....Had another great day in The Kennebec river gorge caught a bunch of salmon and brookies including this beauty. Dries and streamers were working well. We expect more great days of fishing still to come. Thanks to Mark and Ann for fishing with us and providing us with some great company and this great photo op.
guided fishing in Maine can be a great way to spend some time outdoors. Bob and Jill booked a Kennebec River Gorge trip with us and had a great day on the river. We caught some nice looking fish and even found some great weather downstream. The Kennebec River is still fishing well, dries and streamers are still in play. Some great fishing days are still ahead.
